Violent Crime Reduction Act -
On the 8th of June 2005 the the Violent
Crime Reduction Bill was published by the government. Within this bill
the government set out their plans to outlaw the import, manufacture and sale
of realistic replica weapons in the UK; a move which would have an obvious and
massive impact on airsoft. Though it would still be perfectly legal to own and
use airsoft guns as we do now, there would be no new equipment and the hobby
would effectively be slowly choked to death.
